What is the purpose of the group?

While our layout provides a beautiful scenic representation of the world of trains "Modeling" is just one aspect of the group.  We are not a model train club per se: in fact we don't even used the term "club" in the name.  We are train enthusiasts. We seek members who have any interests in trains. 

When and where does the group meet?

The 4th Thursday of each month

Galveston Crossing (GC) Card Room

10:30 - 11:30 AM

How much does it cost to join?

The Interest Group is a labor of love and we will not accept a penny less than that.

Do I have to have a model train layout?

No, a layout is not required (many members don't) but if you find that you've been bitten by the bug there are members willing to share their experience and know how.
